San Diego to Seattle.
Before the Canadian border I stopped off in Seattle. Why not eh. It was a city I had always wanted to see even more so as it was the birthplace of Grunge. Perfect timing as the art gallery was playing host to the Nirvana exhibition. Like a kid in a candy shop for 4 hours. So many amazing pieces of grunge historical memorabilia. Also in the gallery was a Star Wars and classic movie exhibition. If I was able to I would have camped there.
My host in the city let me stay for a couple of nights so I could take in a few sights. I had found out that Kung Fu legend Bruce Lee and his son Brandon was buried not far from my hosts house so I went to the cemetery to see the graves and take a slightly morbid but respectful photograph. The city centre is really nice, clean and easy to get around. I had an awesome time there and was really glad I made the choice to stop over.
I booked my coach seat for Port Angeles for the next day and sorted a host for the night and got back into cycle mode.
